What day do you burn the most or least fat? It’s important to know so that you can set your fat loss and maximize it. Higher ketone levels means more fat loss. The way to have higher ketone levels is to:
- Avoid single carbs – sugar, honey, fruit, juice, milk, alcohols, candy
- Avoid complex carbs – bread, rice, pasta, cereal
- Eat more fats – oils and butters
- Eat more proteins – chick, fish, eggs
- Exercise
The more consecutive days you do it, the higher your ketone levels will be = more fat loss.
Now let’s say you have an OFF DAY (no exercise and poor food/beverage choices). It’s not the following day that you’ll burn the least amount of fat – it’s the day after.
For example: If you have an OFF day on Saturday – it’s not Sunday but Monday that you’ll burn the least amount of fat. Also, you’ll continue to burn a low amount of fat or even gain fat if eating and exercise remain poor. So keep that in mind when looking to burn fat on the KETO Diet.
For the record, I don’t teach KETO.
- It’s not that it’s unhealthy – it’s unsustainable by most.
- It’s also unnecessary.
There are easier and more sustainable ways to maintain a great diet. Also, tracking is the best way to guarantee success – have DEXA scan done to know exactly where your body fat is and what it should be.
If you’re ready to get a DEXA scan and find out where you are and where you should be, and you want personal advice on how to reach your goals, schedule a consultation with me.
