Tacos are NOT a fat dropping meal – traditionally.
Eating most tacos will increase glucose, insulin and body fat.
But, it doesn’t mean that it can’t modified to be both delicious & fat dropping.
- Beef Tacos
- Chicken Tacos
- Ground Turkey Tacos
- Pork Tacos
It’s all in how you prepare it; the trick is to make sure the shell isn’t made from corn or flour. Either use a different type of wrap (lettuce) or a different type of non-bread shell:
I use the ‘Super Lean Pancake’ as a shell/wrap.
My 7-year old daughter loves the Super Lean Pancake as bread. (And 7-years old will not eat something just because it’s healthy!)
The point is there are many ways to eat foods that will help you lose weight, drop fat and get fit without sacrificing taste. Once I learned this, diet no longer became an obstacle for fitness success.
